No. My Pet Memoria is secular, drawing on ideas from pet loss counselling rather than any faith tradition. You're welcome to bring your own.
Will using this make me more sad?+
It's designed to support healing, not prolong pain. Every feature is thought through with ideas from grief therapy (gentle ritual, naming what you feel, making meaning). Early feedback is that it helps people feel less alone.
Is my data private?+
Yes. Your memorial is private by default. Community candles are by invitation only, so only the people you send a link to can leave one. We never sell or advertise against your memories.
Is there really a free version forever?+
Yes. Memorials, candles, community candles, anniversary reminders, the intro grief course, and the companion are free, with no trial and no card. Pro is optional, and unlocks unlimited reflections, every course, every meditation, and more.
How is the companion different from a generic chatbot?+
It's informed by the life story you write for your pet and the entries you journal. It doesn't pretend to be them. It's a gentle companion that reflects what you share, with restraint.
